What drew you to a career as a doula?

I get to create a lifestyle where I serve families in such an amazing part of their life. This career humbles me, keeps me on my toes, and places me in a position where I am forever evolving, learning, and growing. Not to mention the wonderful connections I am able to establish with other birth workers.

What is bringing you so much joy in birth or in parenting?

The sisterhood! We are normalizing birth and forming a sisterhood that empowers women in an unstoppable, no bars held-back fashion that makes me jump to my feet with a hallelujah and amen! YAAAAAS QUEENS!

What do you want every birthing person to know?

Your mental health is important! Take care of yourself! And hire a doula!
