Service Description

Breastfeeding Support is offered in the form of home- visits and phone consultations. During these visits, I am available to help with concerns over the latch, supply, pumping, and sleep. Please call early. Most moms stop breastfeeding in their first week. The cost of the visit includes an initial visit, follow-up visit, and weight checks. If you are breastfeeding, I will guide you through every nursing session with latch and positioning support. We’ll talk through what’s normal and how to know if a baby is getting enough. I’ll be there every step of the way to encourage and assist you. If you’re formula feeding, in addition to feeding your baby, I’ll help with formula prep, bottle washing, and feeding techniques to reduce gas/discomfort. If you plan to exclusively pump and bottle feed, I’ll be your number one teammate. Together, we can figure out a pumping schedule to establish and optimize your milk supply, as well as a system for washing and storing parts that simplify your life. No matter how you choose to feed your baby, I will be there to cheer you on! There can be a lot of emotions tied up in how we feed our babies and we can talk about that too!
